Best Way to Treat Kidney Stones

If you are one of the millions of people unlucky enough to suffer from repeated kidney stones or are just now struggling through the agonizing pain of your first kidney stone you'll undoubtedly be here looking for answers on how to treat it. You want relief and you want it yesterday. I'm going to be breaking down various components of treatment as follows:

Immediate Pain Relief:

You are currently in massive pain and would like that pain to stop.

Stone Passage:

You have a stone lodged in your kidney(s), ureter, bladder or urethra and you'd like it out of your body.

Stone Prevention:

You have had kidney stones in the past and you'd like to prevent them by halting new formation of stones.

Immediate Pain Relief

The pain of a lodged kidney stone has been compared to some of the worst forms of pain known to man and often considered on par or to, or even worse than childbirth.

Option 1: Over the Counter Pain Medication • Grade F

Aspirin, Tylenol, Aleve, Advil... they all work good on your garden variety pain but never make a dent in the terrorizing pain of a kidney stone.

Option 2: Prescription Pain Pills • Grade D

Opioids such as Tramadol, Darvon, Vicodin, Morphine, and Percocet ... they often can significantly diminish the pain but given the incredible rise of US addiction to pain medication most are very leary of taking them.

Option 3: Laboratory Grade Chanca Piedra • Grade A

This herb is quickly absorbed into the blood stream and targets kidney stone pain in a focused manner.

Stone Passage

The goal for 100% relief is getting those stones out of the body.

Option 1: Flomax • Grade F

Often prescribed by your doctor as it's the only thing American doctors know to offer you that may help. When it does work it is designed to relax and dilate smooth muscles so there will be a bigger opening for the stone to pass through. It doesn't seem to work for many people.

Option 2: Lots of Water • Grade B

Your doctor will tell you to drink as much water as you can. This is truly effective at times as it just makes sense. Moving water is necessary to expel the stone.

Option 3: Laboratory Grade Chanca Piedra • Grade A

Again lab grade phyllanthus niruri (chanca piedra) is incredibly effective as a smooth muscle relaxant resulting in opened pathways to provide an easier route out of the body.

Lab grade chanca piedra is also is a diuretic which will cause you to urinate more and in turn greatly increases your odds of passing the kidney stone(s).

Prevent Kidney Stones

Waiting for the next kidney stone attack is mental anguish. Many chronic sufferers experience decades of repeated attacks despite following instructions from their doctor and/or urologist.

Option 1: Restricted Diet • Grade C

If you haven't yet been tested to find out what type of stones you tend to form you owe it to yourself to get that test done as soon as possible. If you are regularly forming uric acid stones your doctor should have provided you with instructions for making food choices to limit certain proteins. This is often effective if you combine it with lots of water and don't cheat on the list. If you are in the majority of sufferers who experience calcium oxalate stones that keep coming back your doctor should again offer a set of diet instructions for minimizing oxalate consumption. Still for many sufferers calcium oxalate stones continue to form even when you're sticking to the diet, avoiding water from a well, soda, and coffee.

Option 2: Diet + Lab Grade Chanca Piedra • Grade A

Whether you are someone who forms uric acid or calcium oxalate stones it is likely you can prevent stones from being able to form again by following the diet provided by your doctor AND taking a daily maintenance dose of lab grade chanca piedra. It has been demonstrated to halt the process that allows crystals to form into stones. Many patients who take it daily report a painless, and even relieving sensation of sand in their urine. It will take two or three months for it to build up in your system and reach full efficacy.

Lab Grade Chanca Piedra

The herb is known as Phyllanthus niruri in the scientific world and has been used in many South American pharmacies for centuries as an effective targeted pain relief, help for passing kidney stones, and for prevention of new stone formation. In fact in many developed countries like Brazil a laboratory grade chanca piedra is available by prescription from a doctor. The literal translation of chanca piedra is stone breaker

Caution

There are numerous products sold on the internet and even on Amazon.com claiming to be chanca piedra. Nearly all are not laboratory grade and most have been produced in China where there is little or no oversight resulting in products that contain toxic fillers.

One product we've found to contain 100% laboratory grade chanca piedra which has been organically grown, tested, and bottled in the United States is Disolvatol produced by Kidney Stone Labs in North Carolina. Disolvatol carries the highest certification possible for cGMP (Certified Good Manufacturing Practices) verified by third party inspectors to ensure safety, purity, and efficacy. Disolvatol is manufactured in a FDA registered facility in the US. They publish the results of those tests here.

Another source of quality laboratory grade chanca piedra is available in a Japanese product called Elimidor. You may find that you need to consume the tea multiple times per day to get a high enough dose to begin breaking down stones. It's unclear exactly how much of the active ingredient is lost when the tea bag is discarded. Certainly you should press hard on the bag with a spoon before removing it from your cup.
